Taken from the unapproved minutes of the regular meeting of City Council, City of Scobey, Montana held Tuesday, September 9. REGULAR MEETING Mayor Morgan Lekvold called the meeting to order with council members Seth Axtman, Niki Larson, Greg Crowder, and Brian French present. Tammi Fladager , Jason Nasby, Wyatt Wilder, City Attorney Samantha Howard, PWD Steve Berreth, and Clerk Sonya M. Southland also attended.

Public Works Report – Steve Berreth:

• Still renting a garbage truck – main truck is still getting a new body, need to research getting a backup truck. PTO went out of the current backup truck, which is why we are renting a truck for $750 a day

• Maguire Iron is supposed to be here soon to repair paint on water tower Zoning Administrator Report – reviewed zoning permits for: 309 Oie St and 3 City Business . . .

Robinson St.; both Permits comply. Councilman French moved to approve the permit applications as presented, for a Deck Permit at 309 Oie St., a Shed Permit at 3 Robinson St.; seconded and passed.

Study Commission Report – Jason Nasby discussed the fact that the city must maintain two wards, but voters can still vote for an at-large candidate in an election. The Council is moving forward with passing an ordinance to vote for or against an at-large election. Jason discussed the survey timeline and final report with the Council.
