We get emails all the time from “James,” “Benjamin,” and who knows who else, supplying us with information under the guise of breaking news releases. We usually don’t give them much time or even read them, since we’re fairly sure they’re not outright scams but more like “advertising news releases.” Turns out, we were correct.

This week we took the time to look at two of them, and one in particular struck us as funny. While they may contain accurate statistics, they’re put out primarily by ambulance chasers.
