SCOBEY STINGRAYS ARE AA STATE CHAMPIONS after winning the state meet in Choteau August 2 & 3 and the divisional championship July 26-27 in Roundup. Trouble with getting computer results from the past two meets have prevented getting complete results in a timely manner. Divisional results appear this issue — more state results will appear next issue.

The Scobey Stingrays are the 2025 Montana Federation of Swimmers state champions!

After roaring through the East Divisional Meet in Roundup July 26-27 with a first-place finish, the local ‘Rays did the same in Choteau this past weekend (August 2-3) at the State Meet.

Reaching the pinnacle in an individual race for the Stingrays at the State Meet was Logan Fischer, who placed first in the age

8 and under 25-meter backstroke. He was the only Scobey competitor to do so in Choteau.

Five Scobey relay teams also earned first-place finishes at the state meet, including:

• boys age 11-12 in 200 medley starring Easton Fladager, Jett Holum, Maddex Holum and Nate Lekvold; • mixed 9-10 medley relay starring Bridger Anderberg, Harper Hansen, Weston Hardy and Harper Lekvold—they broke the pool record with a 1:20.82;

• mixed 8 and under freestyle starring Jaycee Bilbrey, Oliver Brinton, Logan Fischer and Sophie Mc-Gowan;

• boys 8 and under medley relay starring Cantyn Crandell, Emmitt Kimball, Joshua Manternach and Jax Thievin;
