Dear Editor:

This past Wednesday afternoon (July 23), Dave Miller, Cenex Harvest States (CHS) General Manager for Eastern MT operations, held an informative meeting at the Saddle Club informing the local patrons that the Scobey Elevator would be closing on, or about, Nov. 1st.

He cited that the biggest reason for the closure was the lack of bushels that Scobey handles each year. I really disagree with that reasoning...
