County Fair Is Cancelled–

A meeting of the Daniels County Fair Board saw the passing of a motion to cancel the plans for the first annual county fair this year.

Reason for cancellation of the fair as stated by the board this year were as follows: 1. Late Harvest, 2. Grandstand facilities not fully developed, 3. Lack of definite plans for outside entertainment.

Members of the Fair Board at this time are Frank Hughes, chairman; Gordon Marlenee secretary; Richard Veis, Roy Killenbeck, and Gilbert Hammer, members.
