Scobey Headed To Roundup For East Divisional Meet

The Scobey Stingrays swim team is now down to just two remaining meets on the schedule, with the next journey to the Montana Federation of Swimmers East Divisional Meet in Roundup this weekend (July 26-27).

The following weekend of August 2-3 will have a portion of the Stingrays— hopefully a large one— heading west to Choteau for the State Meet.

Last weekend in the Sidney pool the Stingrays swam their way to a third-place finish. A few highlights from the visit to Montana’s Sunrise City included:

• Harper Lekvold being the High-Point winner in the girls’ age 9-10 division;

• the age 9-10 mixed freestyle relay team of Harper Hansen, Weston Hardy, Harper Lekvold and Nolan Kimball broke the Sidney pool record;

• the age 9-10 mixed medley relay team of Weston Hardy, Harper Lekvold, Harper Hansen and Nolan Kimball broke the Sidney pool record;

• Logan Fischer, Easton Fladager, Harper Hansen (twice), Weston Hardy, Nolan Kimball, Harper Lekvold (twice), Nate Lekvold and Tristan Lekvold (twice) placed first in individual races.
