Largest Crowd Ever! Nemont Telephone Celebrates 75 Years With Very Big Event
THAT’S ONE LONG LINE! Yes it was and 579 people from all reaches of northeast Montana wanted to be at the 75th anniversary of Nemont Telephone Cooperative, Inc. on June 11. How to explain the 75th anniversary of Nemont Telephone Cooperative, Inc.’s annual meeting heldWednesday, June 11, in the big yellow building on the south end of the campus?

That’s easy. Crazy great! The more people entered the north door, the more tables and chairs were brought out into the expansive “garage,” and there were already about 400 chairs set up to start with. That wasn’t just a few instances keeping Nemont personnel busy, it was many more, 179 peoplemoreforanannounced total of 579 attending.

“For 20 years I’ve wanted a turnout like this,” said Mike Kilgore, Chief Executive Officer/General Manager of Nemont during his presentation to the extremely large audience. “Thank you so much for the amazing turnout.”
