Violet Mahler Queen– The 6th annual Saddle Club Show in Scobey this week was one of the most successful ever conducted here. Violet Mahler, who previously had been elected queen for the day, demonstrated her capabilities by booting home four first place winners and one third–to lead the field on entries in the various events.

The program was longer this year, but the events were run off in jig time, due to a great extent by Leo Kleeman’s good work as a starter. Walt Ware of Whitetail was announcer. Judges were Charles Eichhorn, Frank Hughes and Harry Garberg of Whitetail.
