IN SMALL TOWNS, THRILLS CAN BE RARE — but this was a real treat to see flying over Scobey this past weekend.

A beautifully preserved 1968 Beech 18 aircraft, which appeared to be in mint condition, made its way to Scobey from Chicago. The passengers and crew arrived Thursday for the funeral of Thelma Veis, held Saturday, May 31.

Curtis and his family found this old bird in Canada in great shape and well cared for.
