Storm Covers Vast Area of the Northwest– The rain and electric storm which started here Tuesday evening, continuing through Wednesday, changed to a heavy snow and is still showing little sign of let-up.

Snowplow crews are patrolling on a 24-hour basis as the community endeavor to recall way back when snow has fallen here in June. According to some of the old-timers, there was snow here on July 4th in 1915, and in 1925 there were snow drifts in May. That July 4th in 1915 was cold.
