Scobey Girls 2nd, Lustre Boys 4th At State C Meet

Consistency Counted For Lady Spartans All Season It was noted in the May 1, 2025 issue of this newspaper the Scobey High School girls’ track and field team had been a very consistent squad up to that point in the season.
Then the Lady Spartans placed first at the Fairview Invitational with 94 points for first; were 26 points behind Circle for second at the District 3C Meet in Glasgow; followed by 7 points back of Circle at the East C Divisional Meet in Sidney, also for second place.
The consistency pattern continued right up to the end when it was last call for all at the Missoula County Public Schools Stadium in Missoula, where the 54th annual State C girls/70th annual State C boys meets were held. In addition the 57th annual Class B girls and 83rd annual Class B boys state meets were held at the same venue on the same days.
The Richey-Lambert Fusion won it all with a very fine showing of 52 points while the Lady Spartans and Granite County (Philipsburg) Prospectors shared second place each with 50. Fellow East C squads Savage and Circle placed fourth and fifth with 40 and 37 points respectively.
