Montana Governor Greg Gianforte kicked off his 5th annual 56 County Tour Thursday, May 15, in Plentywood, where he signed a bill highlighting licensing reforms passed during the 2025 legislative session.

The ceremonial signing of House Bill 426, a bill clarifying laws relating to licensing for real estate appraisers, was sponsored by Montana House of Representatives member Valerie Moore of Plentywood.

The Governor’s second stop of the day around 10 a.m. was at Cahill Seeds in Madoc, and the weather could not have coopera...
