Children and Screen Time

 

School-age children spend more time with screens – television, video games, computers, tablets, and phones – than any other activity but sleeping. Teens spend nearly 9 hours with entertainment screen media every day; tweens average nearly 6 hours; and kids 8 and under average 2.5 hours. That adds up to 114 full days of screen time each year.
