Boys Explode For 258.5 Points At 3C
The Scobey junior high boys' track and field team, a dominant unit all season long, closed out its 2025 season with a big bang by quadrupling its nearest opponent with an extra 14.5 points to spare.
The Spartans, who captured first place in 14-of-
16 events at the District
3C Meet at Scottie Field in Glasgow Wednesday, May
7, piled up 258.5 points while runnersup Circle-Redwater was next best at
61.
The Scobey girls did the same thing but to a much lesser extent, only slightly doubling the Lustre Lions
198-90 for first and second place, respectively. The Lady Spartans won 10-of-16 events while the Lady Lions captured three first-place finishes.
The Scobey boys racked up 24 personal records (PR) in the 9-school event and had one seasonal record (SR) while the Lustre boys had 8 PR and but no SR.
On the girls side, the young Lady Spartans achieved 13 PR and 1 SR while the Lady Lions had 6 PR.
Here are the results of the District 3C Meet, including all of the first-place finishers and of all the athletes from the Scobey School and Lustre School.
