County Fair Dates Set– Daniels County’s first annual fair has been listed with the state organization of county fairs, and the date for that event has been set for Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 6-7, in Scobey.

A schedule of improvements is going forward at the grounds. Next Monday the Board of County Commissioners will open bids on a 1000 seat capacity grandstand, to be constructed this summer.

Work in leveling the track is in progress, the fair board has indicated it will give consideration toward establishment of a lighting system on the fair grounds. Scobey School Trustees have since stated that such equipme...
