After some by-law changes, the board is now full with nine members (see story). There was a small crowd from the public in attendance including Scott Susag, left front, who is one of the newest board members voted in during the meeting.

BeaconCommunityFoundation held it 30th annual meeting on WednesdayApril 23 in the Nemont Friendship Room.

Financial statements were presented by Darrel Tade, CPAfor the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024.

The year began with a fund balance of just under $2 million. Total receipts of approximately $232,000 came in for the year. This includes about $30,000 contributions received and funds of about $97,000 realized gains on the managed funds. Unrealized gains with Montana Community Foundation were at about $31,000 and unrealized gains in the LPL managed fund were $105,000.

Expenditures were about $132,000 for the year.

Ending balance for 2024 was $2,230,000.

Gary Wageman and his daughter Laurel Fewer, 406 Wealth Advisors, gave a presentation on the fund managed by his firm within LPL Financial.The year turned out well for the fund, showing growthofover$197,000from approximately $1,515,405 to $1,715,785,802.
