The Scobey High School girls’ and boys’ basketball programs have been very busy during the month of June by playing in tournaments throughout eastern Montana.

The Scobey girls (8-6, 402-406, 28.7-29.0) started the June season with a 3-2 record at the Poplar tourney.

In Billings, the Lady Spartans met up with a couple of traditional toughs in the Winifred Red Raiders and Chinook Sugarbeeters, coming up short 26-17 and 26-23, respectively. They also lost to the Red Lodge Rams 28-24.
