Death Notice— D. C. Commissioner Lee Humbert

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 6 at Scobey Lutheran, for Daniels County Commissioner and area farmer/rancher, Lee Humbert, 72. He died Wednesday, June 12 of complications from cancer at Daniels Memorial Healthcare Center.

Humbert served as District #1 Daniels County Commissioner since 2010. He was appointed to fill out Commissioner Bill Tande’s term, and has been reelected since. Winning the election in 2020, there are two-and-a -half years remaining on his six year term.
