Former city councilman Paul Landeraaen (12 years) top right and former councilman Jon Baker (23 years) were honored at open house at Scobey City Hall on Tuesday with a coffee hour. Special plaques were made, by Moonlight Laserworks, in appreciation for their many years of service to the City. Former councilman Scott Fishell ( five years) was also on the list of honorees but was unable to attend.

Above are Val and Pastor Paul, as he is known from his other job as a newly retired pastor from Scobey Lutheran, they were honored by the church last weekend with a potluck gathering. He served in the church for 27 years and she has been county librarian for the past 9 years. Another open house for Val is today, Thursday, June 6 at the library from noon to 3...
