School Districts Gets $16,271 From State Land– From an amount of $2,226.012.49 collected by the State Lands Commission, Daniels County has received $16,270.97. The apportionment amounts to a per capita distribution of $15.12 on the basis of the county school census which shows 1,076 persons between the years of 6 and 21 in all county school districts.

The distribution this year is the largest in the history of the state, beginning in 1889 when the per capita distribution amounted to $1.30. Distribution of the funds last year to Daniels County amounted to $10.51 per capita.
