Delegate Reports On National Soil Meet At Denver–

Daniels County Soil Conservation District was represented at the recent national meeting of district supervisors in Denver by Lee McCann. The conference went on record favoring two fundamental concepts: 1. Small projects, usually dams, which are bigger than those which can be constructed and maintained by individuals, should be soil district projects, rather than under direction of the U.S. Army engineers. The conference favored the Pick-Sloan type of development of the Missouri basin, with amendments, rather than TVA type of operation.
