DATELINE SCOBEY, MONTANA — Friday, January 12, 2024 at 10:18 a.m. it was a minus 20 degrees temperature with the wind at 10 miles per hour making it feel like minus-43 degrees below zero with humidity at 67 percent. Two hours and 31 minutes later at 12:49 p.m. I received a text message from a friend that said: “I am all for global warming.” My response to him was: “Me, too!” When that text was sent the temperature had cooled to minus-21 degrees below, humidity at 69 percent and wind at 11 miles per hour making it feel like minus 44 degrees below.
