NATIONAL RURAL HEALTH DAY

NATIONAL RURAL HEALTH DAY
NATIONAL RURAL HEALTH DAY and the Daniels Memorial Health Fair was celebrated November 16 at the hospital with refreshments, prizes and tours and information on services provided at Daniels Memorial Healthcare Center. It was a bit of a scavenger hunt through the 13 department stations. Prizes were in each department and a grand prize, big screen TV was won by Mariah Norby. Each station was hosted by personnel from each department on the first and second floor. Scobey Dental came over and also provided a station. The top photo was in one of the thirteen stationswhere staff talked about and provided hand-outs concerning nursing, quality of care, social services, activities, trauma services and employment opportunities at DMHC. Nurses provided free blood pressure check ups to those who wanted. Lower photo was in the Physical Therapy Department in the basement where people were able to see the offering of services. The large pool was set up so youngsters had a chance to participate, shooting small balls into a floating basket and hoop. The fire department brought up the rescue fire truck and an ambu lance was also on hand for the public to look over. —Leader Photos, b
