Draft Roll Is 201–

Jack McKiernan, overseas veteran of World War I, was the first to register in Daniels County under the new draft law. Since that time 201 youths have registered as of today, according to Mrs. R. V. Walker.

That the draft will bite deep into America’s young family men is evidenced in Daniels County. Only 45 of the 201 registered were single and non-veterans, 52 of those that registered are transients from New York to California.
