Following Community Needs Hearing, City Votes To Sponsor Grant Application

At a hearing before the regularly scheduled Scobey City Council Tuesday morning August 8, the council heard very few ideas on area community needs other than a new hospital building. Daniels Memorial Hospital representatives were at the hearing and requested that the City be a local government (required) sponsor of an application for a Montana Department of Commerce Grant of up to $750,000.
