James Nelson 1949 – 2023

James Selmer Nelson was born on September 17, 1949 in Scobey, MT to Richard and Flossie Nelson. He was the oldest of eight children. As his younger siblings, we all remembered him as a big tease, always with a joke or pun. Jim attended all 12 years of school in Scobey. And of course, part of that time included The Band (name unmentioned): Jim on the organ, his brother John on drums, his brother Joe as the road crew & special effects, along with various friends on guitars.
