Scobey Stingrays Place Second In Plentywood Pool

Host Meet This Weekend

Roseland Park is about to become a small city within the City of Scobey this weekend of June 17-18 as it hosts the 69th annual Scobey Swim Meet.

Action begins at 10 a.m. both days where admission is free with concessions being offered.

The Stingrays of veteran head coach Tate Carney had a big weekend at the Plentywood Meet June 10-11 by placing second overall. This was despite the fact they were missing most of their older swimmers due to latespring basketball tournaments.

Siri Moran and Emery Rouse were high-point winners for Scobey.

“We had 21 ages eight and under swimmers competing last weekend and every single one of them made it without coaching assistance,” said coach Carney.
