IT WAS A FEW DAY DELAY when the Spring Creek bridge/road three miles west of Four Buttes, started to cave in. The 4-5” rain on Friday, June 2nd did damage to the bridge but is was Monday, June 5 that the caving in was either noticed or started to happen. The bridge is one of the several being replaced on Highway 248 and a detour was in the process of being built around it. As of Monday evening, it was reduced to one lane passage.
