City Favors Further Action On Garbage Disposal–

A delegation composed of Dick Coughlin Jr., president of the Scobey Junior Chamber of Commerce and members, Jack O’Brien, Charles Daniels and Francis Brasen, met with City Council to discuss prospects for developing a city-wide system of garbage disposal.

The sentiments of all present appeared to favor a city-operated plan, by a yearly assessment, complete service available to everyone, and with the enactment of an ordinance to provide for enforcement of sanitary conditions within the city, regarding garbage disposal.
