Schauer To Be Honored Guest In Helena–

Henry Schauer, young farm worker southwest of Scobey and a wartime winner of the Congressional Medal of Honor, leaves Scobey this Sunday with a highway patrolman for Glasgow. There he boards a national guard C-47 plane for Helena to be present for Army Day Services in the state capitol.

Henry along with Leo J. Powers of Alder, Montana will be presented with tokens of appreciation from people of the state. Henry Schauer was one of the “Lucky Thirteen” from Daniels County.
