Taken from the unapproved minutes of the regular meeting of City Council, City of Scobey, Montana held Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall.

REGULAR MEETING

Mayor Morgan Lekvold called the meeting to order with councilmen Jon Baker, Scott Fishell, Seth Axtman, Paul Landeraaen present.

Also, in attendance were John Bach, PE Interstate Engineering, Brian French, Undersheriff Mona Vines, Fire ChiefWyattWilder (8:37 a.m.), PWD Steve Berreth and Clerk Sonya M. Southland.

John Bach, Project Engineer with Interstate Eng. introduced himself and provided an overview of the services Interstate Engineering provides. The main office for Interstate Engineering is located in Jamestown N.D. but they have local office in Fort Peck, Montana and have worked closely with surrounding communities on projects including pools.

John stated that they could do a walk thru of the pool if requested.

Public Comment – Brian French provided some clarification on the plumbing bid he submitted for the restroom renovation project. Brian went thru the itemized list of materials with council and the break down; estimated $8,000 in labor and $3,000 in materials.
