The movie playing this weekend at Richardson Theatre in Scobey, “Year of the Dog” has nothing to do with the Chinese Zodiac. Nor is it the documentary film under the same name.

This movie was filmed in Montana and is a story of Matt, a loner alcoholic at rock bottom, struggling to maintain sobriety for 30 days so he can honor his mother’s dying wish, to visit her in hospice, sober.
