Sheriff Anderson Pleaded Not Guilty To Misconduct Charges

 

The initial appearance concerning Daniels County Sheriff Duane Anderson’s charges of official misconduct, was moved to Tuesday morning, February 14th, where he was presented charges, read his rights an pleaded not guilty.

Following charges from the Montana State Attorney General's Office, Anderson was suspended from the office of Sheriff without pay on February 2, until the conclusion of the case.

Meanwhile, Daniels County has no acting sheriff. The office does have Undersheriff Mona Vines, Deputy Canyon Miwa and Deputy Clint Lowe who is presently attending the police academy.
