Plugged Pipes Threaten New Church Project –

An excellent example of group effort in the construction field nearly came to a bad end in Scobey when the heating plant at the Full Gospel Church plugged up and filled the church with fumes and smoke, while a small flame burned dangerously near a pool of oil on the floor in the basement. Pastor Leon Mitchell noticed the clouded windows, aided later by Fred Hirst, John Shennum and his boys, they were able to alter the dangerous condition which came about when pipes plugged with soot and fire came back through the draft opening, ruining a small electric motor on the furnace.
