Lloyd Ronning Buys Reiner’s Bakery, Cafe–

A deal involving a sum of $20,000 was made this week in which Lloyd Ronning of Minot purchased the property, business and fixtures of Reiner’s Bakery and Cafe from John Reiner. The property includes the business locations of the barber shop and beauty shop, adjoining Reiner’s business front.

Mr. and Mrs. Reiner purchased the property in 1926 from M. L. Hoff, stated they plan to retain their home in Scobey, and farming interests here.

Census of Scobey By Lions Club Starts–

Scobey Lions committee on the Scobey census this week is sending out forms to “block captains” who are requested to cooperate in the project. As many Lion members as possible are serving as block captains, but the large area to be covered will require cooperation from others as well. Using this method it is expected the census project will be completed in a very few days.
