Scobey Heads South For Miles City Meet

The cross country teams of Scobey High School are going to run down — on a bus, that is — to Miles City Saturday, October 1, in what will be a big meet.

Twenty-five teams are registered to run on the soft surface that is the Town and Country Club’s golf course. Eight of them are Class A teams, four Class B and 13 Class C.

In the middle school races 22 teams are registered to run, with 19 from Montana and the other three from North Dakota.

The varsity races are at 10:30 a.m. for the girls and 11 a.m. for the boys with the junior varsity and middle school events to follow.

The Thursday, September 22, 53rd annual Frazer Invitational was supposed to be held Thursday September 22, but rain drenched the course and the event was postponed. It has been rescheduled for Tuesday, October 4.
