BASEBALL — Simply put, his pitching was perfect! Kade Vatnsdal, age 16 and soon to be a junior at Billings West High School, pitched a perfect game on Friday, June 10, for the Billings Cardinals American Legion Baseball team. He is the son of Tracy (SHS ‘90) and Arlee (nee: Audet, SHS ‘93) Vatnsdal of Billings. His grandfathers are Phil Audet of Scobey and former Scobey resident Wayne Vatnsdal, who now lives in Fairfield, Montana. It was a scheduled 7-inning game in a tournament in Billings against a team from Wheatland, Wyoming but due to the 10-run rule it ended in the fifth inning at 12-0. Kade’s stat line was no runs, no hits, no base on balls and nine strikeouts versus 15 batters.
