Barbee Shipstead 1929-2022

Barbee Jeanne Shipstead passed away Friday, June 10, 2022 at the age of 92.

Barbee Jeanne Robertson was born to Juy N. and Hilda C. (Trix) Robertson in Scobey on July 16, 1929.

She was a lifelong resident of Daniels County with the exception of college in Bozeman and the last two years of her life she was at a memory care unit in Billings.

Barbee grew up on a farm west of Whitetail and attended grade school at the Julian School. She advanced to Whitetail then on to Flaxville for high school. She moved to Scobey when she was sixteen years old. She rented an apartment, took her junior and senior years of high school in...
