Annual Meeting

The Beacon Community Foundation held its 27th annual meeting April 27 at the Nemont Friendship Room.

Darrel Tade, CPA presented the financial information for the organization. The beginning balance for the time period of January1, 2021 through December 31, 2021 was $1,774,700.27 and ended the year up at $2,110,361.08.

Total receipts for the year were $389,498 largely from the Chet and Marjorie Solberg family of $60,000 (they have given another $60,000 since the first of this year and will be reflected in the next annual report); Axel Larsen estate donation was over $109,000; and nearly $103,000 in realized gains from the LPL endowment fund.
