MISCELLANEOUS — Some schools moving up: On April 11-12 the Montana High School Association moved nine schools up a classification for the 2023-24 school year. Bigfork High School goes from Class B to Class A. The Vikings/Valkyries are tentatively assigned to the Northwest Conference for basketball, volleyball, track/field, football, wrestling, golf and tennis and to the Class A North Division for soccer and Class A Division for swimming and cross country. Chinook High School moves from Class C to Class B. The Sugarbeeters are tentatively assigned to District 1B for basketball, volleyball and track/field, and Division 1 for girls' and boys' golf. Chinook will remain in the North C Division for 8-Player football and the East Division for Class B-C wrestling. Darby High School transitions from Class C to Class B.
