Farmers Await Final Step For Soil District–

Final hearing for establishment of a soil district held last Saturday was attended by about 75 farmers. It was pointed out that while interest in a district here has been exceptionally spirited, the final pay-off will be in the election. At that time it will be necessary for a majority of land occupiers in this county to cast a vote and of these 65 percent must favor the district. Legion Baseball Schedules Set At Wolf Point– Junior Legion baseball from seven northeastern Montana cities met at Wolf Point to discuss and prepare playing schedules for the coming baseball season.
