Bond Issue Favored

By Big Majority;

From a registered list of 534 voters, 237 turned out to vote for Scobey officials, all but one of the offices were filled without opposition. Carl H. Helmbrecht was elected unopposed for mayor, Frank H. Christensen, was elected treasurer.

Of the qualified voters for the bond issue, all but 24 gave the go-ahead sign for repair and extension of the water system.

A. Tymofichuk Dies

At His Home–

Death came to Andrew

Tymofichuk, 74, longtime well-to-do farmer north of Scobey. Surviving him are his wife Anna (Yarmey), five sons, Nick, John, Frank, Michael and William, 3 daughters, Mrs. Eugene Pruttis, Mrs. William Brayko and Mrs. Francis Krezelak.
