at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall.

REGULAR MEETING

Mayor Morgan Lekvold called the meeting to order with councilmen Seth Axtman, Scott Fishell, and Jon Baker present. Councilman Landeraaen was absent.Also, in attendance were Daniels Memorial Hospital Administrator Kody Brinton, Paul Kanning, Sheriff Duane Anderson, Ben Fosland (8:39), Wyatt Wilder (8:42), PWD Steve Berreth and Clerk Sonya M. Southland.

Open Bids – VFD and Control Panel – one bid was received: Granite Peak $121,245.00 Public Comment – Kody Brinton and Paul Kanning gave an overview of the research being done in an effort to improve our healthcare facility, provide better healthcare and create the ability to offer additional services by either remodeling the current facility or building a new hospital. They are engaged with Billings Clinic researching the process to build a new facility and what it could mean to the community.Acommittee has also been looking for a potential area to build and are starting conversations with landowners;alsoplanningfor any environmental study that needs to be conducted once land is approved. Currently, they are working with USDA researching the loan process and how much could be borrowed on estimated costs.
