MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DANIELS COUNTY, MONTANA, HELD FEBRUARY 7, 8, AND 22, 2022, AND SPECIAL MEETING FEBRUARY

14, 2022

REGULAR MEETING

February 7, 9 o’clock a.m.

The Board met in regular session, Commissioners Humbert, Lund and Linder were present with the clerk, Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Commissioner Linder made a motion to approve the agenda, Commissioner Humbert seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Commissioner Lund mentioned that he cancelled the meeting that was schedule with the Local Government Service from Montana State University regarding the local government review for the 2024 election cycle.

Commissioner Humbert made a motion to approve the January 2022 minutes, Commissioner Linder seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

The Board approved payroll dated for January 2022.

The Board reviewed the officer reports for January 2022.

The Board approved JV#’s 8416-8420.

Morgan Lekvold, City of Scobey Mayor, met with the Board to discuss the ARPA funding the County is going to pass on to the City and to let the Board know that they are advertising for bids for the sale of the property across from DC Lanes.

Craig Miller, Road Supervisor, met with the Board to present two quotes to have two gravel pits SHPO approved. Commissioner Humbert made a motion to accept the quote from Kuntz Field Research Archeology to do the archeology survey for the Ryan Nelson and Bruce Dighans gravel pits, Commissioner Linder seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Logan Olson, County Attorney, met with the Board to give them the Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Scobey to pass along some of the ARPA money for the update of the well pumps to keep them up to date for use at the cemetery, the bulk...
