Action Started To Plan

For Soil District–

About thirty farmers assembled in the court room last Thursday to further plans to establish a soil conservation district in Daniels County.

Two delegates, Peter Fosland and Lee McCann will attend the state convention of district supervisors in Billings with Neil Taylor and Casper Brenden as alternates.

P. B. Murphy, stated the interest of the Citizens State Bank in soil conservation from the standpoint of economic security to farmers, hence better loans. The bank is paying the expenses of the two delegates to Billings.

Purchases Cozy

Cafe Building–

John Hunter purchased the building in which he is operating the Cozy Cafe from Joe Gilmore. The building had been previously owned by Florence Faanes.
