MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DANIELS COUNTY, MONTANA, HELD SEPTEMBER 7, 8, AND 20, 2021.

REGULAR MEETING

September 7, 9 o’clock a.m.

The Board met in regular session, Commissioner Humbert, Commissioner Lund and Commissioner Linder were present with the clerk.

Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Commissioner Lund made a motion to approve the agenda, Commissioner Linder seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Commissioner Lund made a motion to approve the August 2021 minutes, Commissioner Linder seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Logan Olson, County Attorney, met with the Board regarding contract with Daniels County Transportation and use of the Border Sports Arena.

Marion Thompson, Hospital Administrator, met with the Board to have the Daniels County Transportation contract signed with changes. He requested the Board sign over the titles to the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan and 2005 Ford Bus to have them in the Daniels Memorial Hospital’s name as the insurance will now be paid by the grant money that is received for the transportation program. The contract requires a county liaison. The Board asked Sherie Anderberg, Senior Citizens Coordinator if she would be the liaison. Sherie agreed.

Commissioner Linder made a motion to sign over the two aforementioned titles, Commissioner Lund seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Commissioner Linder made a motion to sign the Transportation Contract as amended, Commissioner Lund seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Inga Hawbaker, Extension Agent, met with the Board to have the agreement between Montana State University and Daniels County approved. Commissioner Linder made a motion to sign the agreement, Commissioner Lund seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Inga informed the Board that the board training workshop is set for October 26, 2021.
