Things, Ideas & People . . .

We heard of one $100 bill thought originally to be counterfeit, has been found circulating in Daniels County. After contacting DSFCU President Tim Rask, he said, “We haven’t seen anything that I would call counterfeit, but we did have a business who took in a FAKE $100 bill last week." At first glance . . . “it looked authentic, but up close it had “For Motion Picture Use Only” printed where it usually says United States of America on both sides.” Regardless, be vigilant.

Back to counterfeit . . .

The United States Secret Service recommends if you receive a counterfeit: Do not return it to the passer.

Delay the passer if possible.

Observe the passer’s description, as well as that of any companions, and the license plate numbers of any vehicles used.
