Hail Losses Hit Both Ends Of County In Strips–

Today for the first time in more than a week the overcast cleared and the combines once more are rolling. For some, there is little work to resume. Thursday last week the skies dumped ice north and west of Peerless severely damaging excellent crop prospects. The same day at Whitetail hail blasted a strip extending from the town east.

Kjelstrup Child Polio Victim–

Judy Kjelstrup, 3 year old daughter of Mrs. Dorothy Kjelstrup, Flaxville telephone operator was taken Sunday to the hospital at Billings for treatment. Both of the little child’s legs were paralyzed by an attack last week of infantile paralysis.
