Light Vote In Primary–

Fifty-five percent of Daniels County’s 1776 registered voters went to the polls Tuesday. Approximately 770 Democrats and 210 Republican ballots were counted.

Monday Rains Take Further Toll In Area– Areas east, south and west of Scobey were again drenched by heavy rains, accompanied by high winds. North at the old Bill Ferguson place on which Leonard Marlenee is living, wind tore off the barn roof.

Torrents of water south of Flaxville washed out enough of the R-Y Trail near the old Kraft place to cut off the one remaining dependable road from the north to No. 2 highway.
