The Prairie Symphonette, having not performed before a live audience since December 2019, returned to action Sunday, July 4, 2021 as part of the Daniels County Centennial celebration.

Even with an 18-month layoff the 30-member roster of musicians did not disappoint the audience of 124 people.

The concert featured, in order performed, The Great Locomotive Chase, Fanfare of the Common Man, The Typewriter with soloist Connie Wittak, Jupiter-Bringer of Jillity from The Planets, Ashokan Farewell with soloist Gayle May and You’ll Never Walk Alone.

Sunday’s Prairie Symphonette was proudly sponsored by Fosland Law Firm PLLC, Independence Bank, Nemont, PRO Co-op, Scobey Lions Club and Wolfe-Daniels Agency.
